Thornbridge Brewery

Trading as THE THORNBRIDGE HALL COUNTRY HOUSE BREWING COMPANY LIMITED, registered at Companies House number 05142189.

What we have checked

Every brand here has to clear one test before it is listed at all: the company is a UK legal entity with real activity here. That is a question about the business, and it is deliberately not the same question as where any individual product is made.

• uk registered entity: Companies House record resolves, status active. Number published by the company at https://thornbridgebrewery.co.uk/terms-conditions. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk hq: Registered office is a UK address: Riverside Brewery, Bakewell, DE45 1GS. This is the registered office, which is not necessarily where the company operates. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk site: Stated by the company: "In 2009 a brand new state of the art brewery was built at Riverside, Bakewell to meet with demand and allow Thornbridge to develop their range of beers. Brewing still takes place today on the original kit which has been moved to beside the Taproom at Riverside, which allows us to experiment with new brews, create bespoke Hall brews, collaborations and assist the main brewery in Bakewell." Source, checked 2026-09-01.
• uk employment: Stated by the company: "If there are none, then we're always keen to hear from talented people who want to be part of The Thornbridge story. We care about quality in our products, in our people and in our service. If you do too, you'll fit in wonderfully. Send a CV and brief covering letter to Info@thornbridge.co.uk" Source, checked 2026-09-01.
• uk control: No majority shareholding traced outside the UK; controlled by Mr James Robert Harrison. Source, checked 2026-09-01.

We have only checked company registration so far. Evidence of UK employment or a UK site is the next thing we intend to gather, and until we have it we say so on every product rather than implying it.
