Brighton Gin

Trading as BRIGHTON GIN LIMITED, registered at Companies House number 11295463.

What we have checked

Every brand here has to clear one test before it is listed at all: the company is a UK legal entity with real activity here. That is a question about the business, and it is deliberately not the same question as where any individual product is made.

• uk registered entity: Companies House record resolves, status active. This maker publishes no company number, so the record was matched on company name together with a registered office at BN41 1GD, a postcode published on https://brightongin.com. Inferred by us (§3.3), not stated by the company. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk hq: Registered office is a UK address: Vale Road Portslade, Brighton, BN41 1GD. This is the registered office, which is not necessarily where the company operates. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk site: Stated by the company: "If you happen to visit Brighton Gin on a distilling day you'll be met by an aromatic curtain of citrus as Paul, our superstar lead distiller, peels dozens of fresh oranges and limes that bestow a lively zest to both our Pavilion and Seaside gins." Source, checked 2026-09-01.
• uk employment: Stated by the company: "The Brighton Gin team is multi-faceted and multi-talented - when not peeling limes or distilling each batch of Brighton Gin, Paul will be fixing or building all sorts of helpful things from pallet bars to hot composting units!" Source, checked 2026-09-01.
• uk control: No majority shareholding traced outside the UK; controlled by Ms Kathryn Melanie Keele Caton. Source, checked 2026-09-01.

We have only checked company registration so far. Evidence of UK employment or a UK site is the next thing we intend to gather, and until we have it we say so on every product rather than implying it.
